As the fig season is coming to an end, here is our last seasonal recipe is Fig Chutney 😁
Similar to the Indian mango chutney, you make it with spices adding a touch of flavours like pungent and bitter to add depth. Salt and lemon juice will give you the salty and sour flavours. And suddenly your jam is nutritious, healthy and detoxifying 😃
💪Cut into pieces, cook in low fire 🔥 for a few hours to reduce water, add spices like ginger, cumin, turmeric, cinnamon, black pepper etc., blend and freeze what you can’t eat.
Enjoy on toast, in a baked fig roll, with fresh cheese and honey 🍯 ohhhh..

Another fig creation 😍and my favorite for breakfast, lunch or dinner. So easy to make. The secret for success is quality ingredients - goats cheese, organic sourdough, olive oil (basil pesto is made with it), sweet fresh figs (suppose you can substitute them with soaked dry ones, not sure).

Fig obsession continues 😊
Apart from being packed with nutrients that support health, figs are highly versatile in cooking and will add sweetness and depth of flavour to many dishes. Introducing our high protein sugar and gluten free organic buckwheat
Fig and Dates bread great as dessert or breakfast.
Recipe:
(Mix the below ingredients in a bowl and pore into a loaf tin.
Bake in an air fryer at 180 C for 45 min.)
100g buckwheat flour
7g baking powder
1 scoop protein powder
7-8 dates blended with 50ml of water (sugar substitute)
50 g organic olive oil
6 large ripe figs cut into pieces
1 egg
Vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
1 tsp cinnamon
Ganache frosting
(blend the below ingredients):
50 ml Coconut milk
Handful of soaked cashews
4 dates
Vanilla extract
Lemon juice of 1/4 small lemon
Decorate with fresh figs. Voila!
